Jason grew up in Crystal Minnesota turning everything he could into a competition or game. A three sport athlete in high school Jason’s athletic talents earned him a college scholarship to play football in West Virginia. There Jason earned a degree in Health Science and could tell early on his passion for training the human body would lead him to a career in the health and fitness industry. Since 2006 Jason has worked in numerous different fitness facilities and for different athletic programs. Jason has coached everyone from grandmothers and grandfathers, to youth athletes, collegiate and professional athletes and of course your weekend warriors.
In 2011 Jason transitioned from a strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer, to a box owner and CrossFit coach. Jason saw the benefit in the constantly varied training methodology and knew that the team element of CrossFit and competitive spirit pushed his athletes and made training so much more rewarding.
Jason is a passionate coach who is constantly looking for creative and new ways to challenge his athletes. He cares about each and every athlete he gets the pleasure to work with. Jason loves the competitive element of CrossFit and is always looking to find that little button inside everyone that needs to be pushed to make them a better version of themselves.
Jason currently lives in Minnetonka, MN, with his wife Samantha, their daughters Harper, Harlow, and Hazel, and their Yellow Lab Kaylee. Jason’s interests outside of CrossFit include traveling, spending time up north at the family cabin, hunting, golfing, and spending time outdoors.
