Cameron Goude

Coach

Cameron grew up in Brooklyn Center Minnesota. Through most of Cam’s youth his free time was spent playing outside or participating in organized sports. Cameron participated in Football and Hockey in his youth but as he got into high school Hockey became his primary focus. Cam graduated from the Academy of Holy Angels in 2006 and went on to then play junior hockey in British Columbia and later Texas. After almost three years of junior hockey Cam returned to school at Finlandia University in Michigan and continued his education and hockey career.

During his time at Finlandia, he was named student senate president, captain of the hockey team and was an active member in the community. Fitness was always a passion for Cameron, however after graduating from college and not training for hockey, he needed to rekindle his “why”. He dabbled in bodybuilding, ventured in powerlifting but found his love for Crossfit after trying several years of open workouts by himself in a globo gym or alone in his home garage gym.

He later became a member of COL in 2019 and was hooked by the positive and supportive community. You now usually will find Cameron in the 5:30am class sweating, dancing, cracking jokes and cheering on other athletes in his deep coach voice.

Cameron currently works full time for the Robbinsdale School District as The Director of Community Enrichment and Engagement.  In addition to work Cam enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three kids, going up to his cabin, playing hockey, riding his one wheel and bringing joy and having fun in every class that he coaches and participates in.
